Anne Bagby Workshop
I am gathering my art supplies to take to Anne Bagby's workshop at the Art and Soul Retreat here in Portland. I have never been to an Art and Soul event, but I am excited to take Anne's class. She has been featured in The Artist's Magazine and Somerset Studio and does beautiful work. Maybe I'll post a picture if I produce anything decent!

I know this blog site is somewhat old and you may never even see this but, I was wondering if you thought that the Anne Bagby Workshop was a worth while experience for you to take? I was looking for her work and noticed your blog and how you were looking forward to it. It is nice to get some feedback on artists that take workshops when I am thinking about taking one from the artist myself. I have taken allot of workshops over the 8 years I have been painting and I get more out of some then others. I don't know if it is the personal chemistry or if they just can't articulate how to convey what they want to get across to the attendees of their workshop. I have found some creative minds mix and some don't.
Your work is nice, and I hope you have lots of time to paint in 2009.
